  • Explore the magical Jemez Mountains; amazing photo ops, majestic scenery, off-road dirt trails, wildlife viewing (Elk herds if in season), nature hiking, hot springs, geothermal fumaroles, waterfall, fossil hunting, tree climbing, plus more!
  • Specific points of interest may include: Valles Caldera National Preserve, Jemez Falls, Soda Dam, Gilman Tunnels, plus more!
  • Jungle Judah will be your chauffeur for the day in the Pinzgauer truck. You choose where you want to go (remaining in Jemez area), and/or let Jungle Judah suggest which sites to visit. The plan for the day is in collaboration with you and Jungle Judah. Tentative plan to be determined prior to trip. Note: the Pinzgauer truck is lots of fun and can maneuver most any terrain, but it is slow, loud, and arguably uncomfortable and fuel smell over length of time; so is best to plan for exciting stops along the journey.
  • Group size is from 1 to 9 personnel. The truck has 9 passenger seats: 1 passenger front-seat (lap + shoulder seatbelt) and 8 back-seats (lap seatbelts).
  • Bring your own preferred snacks (and lunch). Basic snacks such as trail mix and water are provided. Use of cooler is provided upon request.
  • Trip fee includes use of Pinzgauer and driver, as well as gasoline. Additional fees such as any location specific activity or entrance fees are paid by you. Note: Due to the peculiarity of driving this vehicle, you will not be allowed to drive the vehicle.
  • Tours available to be scheduled on weekends, Fridays, and holidays.
